In case one is not available, and insurance if you like.

Source 1 is from Betfair

Source 2 is from Timeform.

And on the above interfaces only, Speed, Speed Rating and Potential Lay may vary from the two sources.

How to use the software.

There are several ways to use this great dog software.

1. Use the visual display, in either all the meetings so you can scroll down as each race comes along (see above interface.

Clicking on Meetings for (Date) in this case 13/11/2024 will load all the races for the day. This is the option needed if you want to download the days racing into excel for further analysis.

2. Using the software only one race at a time like below.

In the above single race you can see that it has the Trap data (In green boxed area), only shown in the race by race display, however can be downloaded in to excel which we will talk about later on.

Regardless of which source you use the in single race by race approach the data for traps will be the same.

But as mentioned above the Race data for Speed, Speed Ratings, and lays will be different between source 1 and source 2.

To save confusion in the example of results we will use Source 1 (Betfair data), this is not saying one is better than the other.

Research is a big bonus, the results go back to July 2024, so you can build your own data base.

How to boggle your returns on the Dogs (well bitches really) in a nice way!!

While some of theses results are good, we can improve them.

Look at these. This is a combination of the graphs so you can see them as a group.

We are showing two graphs as they represent two Odds Range.

Days are 25 days from 20-10-2024 to 14-11-2024

The first graph below is for the odds the graphs above show, 2.00 to 5.50 odds.

The second graph, is longer odds range. 4.00 to 5.50

The Return on investment, on the 4.00 to 5.50 odds is 11% More.

So we are making MONEY on this method, however we can greatly improve on this.

And it is HUGE...

The Strike Rate on one jumps 10% and the ROI improves a massive 23%!! to 37%

And the 4.00 to 5.50 odds balloons out to, 46% more to make 71% ROI.

And the Strike rate on bitches only 4.00 to 5.50: is a surprising 37%

Dave a fellow Sandgropher (West Australian resident.) Keen Greyhound man, has taken our Trap 6 strategy further.

Following your lead, I tried backing Trap 6, Speed Rating from Timeform < 16 and BSP 2.00 to 6.00.  Trial period from 15/2/21 to 13/3/21 = 26 days.

A pretty sizeable 500+ bets reveal a reasonable SR and a nice little ROI.  See below.
There is around about a 5% chance these are fluke results.

A 2000 shuffle Monte Carlo simulation reveals that some recovery staking including Retirement has a risk of going bankrupt.  Assuming a 5% commission rate...

Level staking at $20 per bet yields $971 profit (0.1% chance of bankruptcy)

Percentage Staking @ 2% of bank with Ratchet starting at $20 per bet yields $1571 profit (2.95% chance of bankruptcy).  Stake rose to $54 as profits accrued/

A more adventurous Retirement Staking (but still under control with the clever settings) yields $2447 profit (11.35% of bankruptcy).  Initial Stake @ $20 but stake rose to $79 after losing runs.

I think a simple Percentage Staking plan is the safest.  ROI of 8% sounds good to me.

Dave looked into the A Grade only Races.

Those A grade dogs do even better as you would expect they would.
